The passing of a treasured pet

“SUKI” (1994 - 2012)

Suki met everyone with great affection, and was loved by all. A Pomeranian puppy, imported from California, Suki was intended as pet therapy during visits to see Denese’s Alzheimer’s stricken mother who was living in Vancouver.

Denese’s divorce necessitated a new home, and Gabriola fulfilled a long-held dream of living on an island. Shortly after arriving, Suki was bred by accident, and produced two cross-bred Peke Pom puppies, Da Silval/Delanoire (1996-2005/6).

Suki outlived her puppies by six years. These beautiful animated pets brought smiles to the faces of everyone who saw their antics at play.
