GGMS to survey Horseshoe Road area

In response to concerns expressed by Horseshoe Road area residents, the Gabriola Groundwater Management Society (GGMS) intends to conduct a detailed survey in the area.

This survey is intended to provide more detailed information addressing concerns about commercial pumping of bulk groundwater in the immediate area.

The resulting information may then be submitted to the Islands Trust and the Agricultural Land Commission as a supplement to previous submissions from GGMS regarding bulk groundwater extractions from ALR land.

Property owners and residents who are not contacted directly by GGMS may participate by contacting GGMS directly at 250-247-9601.
