A new executive was elected Sept. 17 for the Local Trust Committee’s new Advisory Planning Committee (APC).

At their first meeting of the term at the Trust office on North Road, elections were held for the position of chair (Lisa Webster-Gibson) and vice-chair (Nancy Crozier). Deb Scott agreed to take on the position of secretary.

As previously reported, Gabriolans Deborah Ferens, Alex Hodson, Steve O’Neill, and James Prunty have also been appointed to the commission.

The Monday meeting was scheduled to give feedback on a development permit application filed by Gabriolans Chris Hock and Lana Pearson to proceed with Phase Two of the Madrona Marketplace mall on North Road, see story, this edition.
