Malcolmson demos electric car

Trustee Sheila Malcolmson got the loan of a zero emissions vehicle this week and took the opportunity to put it on display at Sunday's Fall Fair.

Malcolmson explained: “Last term the Trust committee got the Province to create a zero emission vehicle network for Gabriola, and we’re really pleased that we got the chance to demo it”. She said everywhere she takes the car people stop her to ask about it.

“We’re definitely not going to turn into car sales-people”, she said, “but it’s great to promote the ability to have a zero emission vehicle on the island”.
