Renowned tap dance artists Terry Brock (left) and Dianne Walker praised the Island, audiences and musical director Steve Smith after the sold-out Seaside Riffs performance at the Haven on Wednesday evening. The improvised “conversations” between dancers and musicians (Smith and bassist Ken Lister) continued at the Surf later in advance of the 13th Annual Vancouver International Tap Dance Festival, produced by Gabriola’s Sas Selfjord.
