Gabriola’s first responders received positive feedback on their performance from a couple of sources recently, Fire Chief Rick Jackson told the Gabriola Fire Protection Improvement District (GFPID) board at their August 1 meeting at Fire Hall #1.

He said they got “lots of kudos from the doctors on a couple of calls”, and BC Ambulance (BCA) in Victoria also commended them on how they handled a recent call. He said BCA now has equipment through which they can review the data after a call.
