Gabriola Groundwater welcomes all our summer residents back to our wonderful Island. We have been busy this year! Once again we are offering you a chance to participate in a water use survey that will benefit our island and all the folks who live here.
The Gabriola Groundwater Management Society (GGMS) is working with the RDN on a survey (developed with assistance from Vancouver Island University “Applications in Natural Resource Management” class) to better understand water use on Gabriola Island. By filling in this census, you are providing the RDN and GGMS with an accurate representation of the water needs of your community. This information will be summarised anonymously. Please fill out the census to the best of your ability; it should only take ten minutes.
This survey came out as an insert in the Flying Shingle and the Gabriola Sounder at the beginning of June. We have extra copies of this survey for your convenience at Arbutus Building Supply, the Co-Op General Store and Gas Station and the Coastal Community Credit Union.
These three Gabriola businesses are working with us on this project. You may return the completed surveys to these three locations when you have completed them.
The survey will close at the end of July. Thanks for being a part of this Gabriola project!
